Catching up
After performing a clean install of Edgy Eft a few days ago, I hadn’t got round to fixing my blog which had turning blank and showing the blog when it was in it’s infancy - for some reason it was index.htm had precedence over index.php. (?)
Anyways, the Christmas holidays began last Thursday for my school! Woo!
One thing I want for Christmas is Bomberman 64, so I’d been watching videos on the net of it and it brings back memories. My friend used to own it and I used to go round his house all the time then borrow some of his games then give them back when he came back round mine. But a few months ago, he’d gone off playing video games by now, I asked him if I could by Bomberman 64, but he said he sold it in a car boot sale. Nooo!
I’ll get round to fixing the header when I can be bothered!

I am posting this…
From inside Ubuntu Linux! Go me!
Everything’s going fine so far, even my wireless internet worked straight away, but the only problem I have so far is the speed the mouse cursor moves. Adjusting the acceleration in the Mouse settings has no effect on it; it’s too fast for me!

Reality TV
I normally don’t like Reality TV programmes, but I’m looking forward to I’m A Celebrity, which starts tonight and’ll be on every night! It’s not actually the reality bit I like about the programme, it’s the hosts: Ant & Dec; they’re great!

It’s a gem
Been messing around a bit with something I would normally steer clear of: servers, frameworks and the like; I’ve been using a bit of Ruby on Rails today.
Which involved doing things I never thought I would be able to do, like controlling a web server from the command line, being able to make a “Hello World” application with Ruby on Rails or creating databases.
With luck, this could be the beginning of a beautiful friendship!

Woohoo!
My school was in the news today, but unfortunately it wasn’t in a good light. It’ll also be the subject of an hour long special, again, not in a good light, alas.
